Mother Earth, Mother Earth
Let me tell you how I feel
You have given me your treasures
I love you so!

Lughnassad/Lammas/Loafmass is the feast of giving thanks to Mother Earth for her abundance. It is also the time for reflecting on what has been manifested in our own lives; in the tangible and intangible realms.

It is the time to harvest what we have planted in our hearts.  On this day we celebrate the beginning of the harvest season; whatever ‘Harvest” means to us and whatever we need to reap! Now is the time for reflecting on what has been manifested in our own lives, the tangible stuff and the intangible realms. It is the time to start harvesting what we have planted in our hearts.

It is the beginning of August and this is the month of Apple trees and Hazel. The apple tree stands for: love  –  cleansing –  healing (an apple a day keeps the doctor away) and hazel stands for: inspiration  –  inner guidance  –  and divining. Hazel invites you to connect with and listen to the Divine in three different ways.
The coming six weeks, until the Autumn Equinox in September, can be dedicated to these energies, so when we reach the 21st of that month we can have a better understanding of what harvest Lughnassad/Lammas/Loafmass has brought to us, seen in the light of inspiration, inner guidance, the divine, love, cleansing and healing.

May your harvest be bountiful and ready to be shared!
