This year I was not in The Chalice Well and Gardens, but I travelled to The Netherlands and celebrated the event with family (hubs Sig, sisters Sylvia and Agnès Schlüter,) and friends here.

We went to a tiny village in the north where my sister Sylvia Schlüter and her husband John Marriott live. Koekangerveld (the name of the village) is a hotbed of spirituality! A ‘Glastonbury’ in The Netherlands, with a lively Village Hall (Dorpshuis, meaning Village House) where the ceremony took place. It has been raining for the last 24 hours so the outside ceremony was cut short and a large portionof the event was moved to inside the Hall.

There were fires, drums, wishes, sound bowls, dancing, percussion, singing, meditating. It was a lovely meaningful event. Here some photos:
